It is very important to provide a child-friendly environment that is safe, secure, caring and stimulating. In Kindergarten, students not only express themselves fluently in complete sentences, but also learn to listen attentively and follow directions. Listening, speaking, reading and writing are integrated, connected skills that build upon each other in Kindergarten. Listening and speaking are important academic and social skills and are necessary in order for children to become successful readers and writers.
We at Campion believe in fostering these skills in our children through a variety of activities such as show and tell, formation and reading of sentences, reciting poems and much more. We also believe in promoting the children’s social, intellectual and physical development through play and structured activities, preparing them for a smooth transition from pre-school to school. Some of the activities conducted are making cards, colouring, board games and different types of walks.
