Skipper Harshvardhan Roongta, couldn’t have asked for a better finish to his final year as a Skipper of the Camp Rangers team (The Campion Dads` Cricket Team).

The Quadx2 tournament, a premier Inter-School Dad`s Cricket tournament comprising of 8 top School Dad’s teams participating witnessed highly intensive & competitive matches throughout the tournament. Camp Rangers started the tournament with a win over AB Warriors, followed a by a hard fought close finish match which Cathedral Knights won with a thin margin. With one match to go, and everything on the line, Camp Rangers pulled out a splendid victory against BD Royals, (won by 87 runs), to qualify for the Championship Finals.

In the finals, on a tough batting wicket, Camp Rangers, contained the Hillspring Lions to a modest total of 141. With the openers giving Campion a great start with a 100 run plus partnership, Camp Rangers cruised to victory in the 16th over with 7 wickets to spare. Sangram Singh with a thumping 82 runs was declared “Man of the Match”.

Camp Rangers also had Rahul Pandey (6 wickets), as the highest wicket taker of the tournament and was awarded the “Best Bowler of the Series”. Sangram Singh (149 runs) and Aditya Maheshwari (148 runs), featured in the top 3 run scorers of the tournament. Sudharshan Roongta (5 wickets) and Vishal Shah (4 wickets) were amongst the highest wicket takers of the tournament as well.

Special mention for our senior most cricketer, Mr. Paul Machado, whose performances with the ball were outstanding.

The Camp Rangers unit played like a well oiled unit, under the astute captaincy of Mr. Harshvardhan Roongta with each and every player contributing to the team victory. Having won many accolades in the past, this is yet another feather in the Camp Rangers Cap.
